Bridgestone India organises health check-up campaign for pregnant women

Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd. , a group company of
Bridgestone Corporation, the world’s leading tyre and rubber company, organised
a health check-up campaign at Pithampur in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh that
is specifically catered for pregnant women from neighbouring villages, as well
as adjoining towns. Through this event, Bridgestone aims to generate and
increase awareness of healthy pregnancy within the community.
The campaign is headed by Dr.
Sharma, Chief Medical Officer Bridgestone India with support from the
government and a team of medical experts who consists of gynaecologists, female
nurses and pathologists associated with reputed hospital services. The camp is
conducted under the supervision of Medical officer CHC Pithampur, Dhar.
To extend the best possible
health care services, Bridgestone employees will facilitate and assist the
patients’ registration process, medical examinations, and pathological tests
during the campaign. The health camp offers complete health check-up for
pregnant women, which include blood grouping, haemoglobin levels and HIV tests,
followed by a thorough physical examination and consultation by gynaecologists.
Also, patients receive complimentary medicament such as iron and protein
tablets, tonics and health supplements.
